Boone Area Wine Trail
Boone North Carolina is now home to three wineries, the Banner Elk Winery, Grandfather Vineyard and Winery and the 1861 Farmhouse Restaurant and Winery, two of the three wineries were completed in 2011. The Blue Ridge Mountains are slowly becoming the Wine Country of the east coast and where better to sip some vino than with the Blue Ridge Mountains as your backdrop?
NOTE: North Carolina runs its own Liquor Stores, so keep you eyes out for the block letters of “A B C” as you will never see the term “Liquor Store” in neon lights in the great state of North Carolina!
